This achievement marks the second major qualification within the Qualcomm automotive ecosystem, following the successful validation of Interquip's 76.8 MHz automotive-grade crystal unit with Built-in thermistor (4MTB7680007YSF30QY) for the Qualcomm SA525M 5G V2X connectivity platform. The continued qualification of Interquip’s frequency control devices reinforces Interquip’s proven capability to deliver reliable timing solutions that meet the rigorous demands of next-generation automotive electronics.
The Qualcomm SA8620P platform is designed for next-generation intelligent driving applications, integrating high-performance computing, low-power processing and advanced AI capabilities to support advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving functions. The component has undergone comprehensive reliability validation, including temperature cycling, thermal shock and long-term operational life testing, ensuring dependable timing performance under harsh automotive conditions throughout the vehicle lifetime.
Under the hood or on the chassis, thermal extremes won't compromise the system's timing.
